If the analyst has really stated this then there might be some reasons. They might have considered the current uncertainty in the digital market. All the biggest names in the digital asset are experiencing terrible truth on their market values as they constantly losing their worth last few months. Bitcoin the biggest crypto is the victim most in this scenario, according to some reliable crypto news sources.

At the beginning of the year 2018, much negative news has come across the digital market, many countries are restricting crypt exchanges while many are thinking about banning it. The most shocking news was from the Chinese government as they announce the restriction to all bitcoin exchanges. It need not to mention that China was one of the biggest marketplaces for bitcoin trading. So I think judging by all of this circumstances, the analyst may have stated that cryptocurrency is going to reach to its bottom.

I am a faithful person and as a crypto trader, I have my faith on cryptocurrencies. I strongly believe that cryptocurrency will back on track soon surpassing all the destruction. After all, nobody knows whats going to happen tomorrow.
